OUAGADOUGOU - The opposition parties have demanded at a conference on Friday the resignation promptly by President Blaise Compaore. Master Bénéwendé Sankara, President of the Union for Renaissance / Sankarist Movement (UNITE / MS) and leader of the opposition parties asked at this conference the resignation of Blaise Compaore. He also urged all the people of Burkina Faso to remain mobilized to compel the President of Burkina Faso from power in case of last refused to leave. This conference of opposition parties came as the days since the Burkina Faso known events of various kinds. Judges and court officers have decided to suspend all activities that since Thursday, "until further" order following the demonstration of the soldiers who liberated their fellow prisoners, at a press conference. Gunshots were heard in the night of Tuesday, February 22 in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, where soldiers were in the protest movement. These events followed an altercation during which five soldiers convicted were guilty of assault on civilians in February 2011. To express their discontent, the military have taken over an armory at Camp Sangoulé Lamizana to Gounghin which also houses the offices of the Military Justice or the trial took place. Tuesday, March 15, a rally planned by the National Association of Burkina Students (ANAB) in the precincts of the University of Ouagadougou was violently suppressed by security forces of Burkina Faso. These students gathered to demand justice for the death of young student Justin Zongo in police custody Koudougou.
