On Monday, March 26, 2011, after three months of unsuccessful attempts to take possession of strategic sites
Abidjan, the rebels retreated to the Western and Eastern fronts of the area and attacked government
both of these fronts, with air support and ground forces to UNOCI and Licorne.
- On the western front: the following observations are worth noting:
A Duekoue, a nameless barbarism hit people close to President Gbagbo assumed, causing over 2,000 deaths with a peak of more than 800 deaths on 28 and 29 March 2011. This is a true genocide.
During the attack on the village of Doke, the village chief and his 10 notables were slain by the rebels.
At the Cathedral of San Pedro during the Mass on Sunday, April 3, 2011, the rebels broke into the church
gunfire, Date: 10 dead.
In Daloa, Lakota, Bayot, Ouragahio, Issia, Sinfra and many other localities of the country, looting committed by rebels and released prisoners and armed, were followed by physical removal and burning of Whole villages and homes in the cities.
On the front-EST: Under supervision and escort of UNOCI and Licorne, the rebels took successively all the cities with the same scenes: release of prisoners and arms, looting targeted shops and homes, fires and physical elimination.
-On the central front in Tiebissou, air strikes of UNOCI and Licorne forces have been due to Defence and
Security had defeated the rebels in Bouake and were heading.
In Abidjan all strategic sites in the state have been bombed by helicopters and tanks of UNOCI and Licorne: Camp Akouedo and Agban, School of Gendarmerie, the RTI, the Presidential Palace, the Official Residence Head of State.
Defense Forces and Security have demonstrated heroism through the trio failed ONUCI-unicorn-rebels
on the battlefield. All strategic sites remain under control.
After the failure of the trio, the Unicorn Force raided the airport and place a new phase of its commitment
by land, on the night of April 2 to 3, 7 Transalls French army carrying a regiment of more than 700 Green Berets in the French Foreign Legion with new tanks, boxes of ammunition and weapons. The pretext used in the world is the recovery of French nationals living in Abidjan and the interior.
After an aerial ballet of helicopters Unicorn forces, transport and positioning of the rebel troops, the French Licorne force have returned to action by dropping dozens of bombs on the Residence of the Head of State, the Ivorian Radio and Television, with official reason as the destruction of heavy weapons and unspoken goal the assassination of the Head of State constitutionally elected and sworn in by the Constitutional Council, His Excellency President Laurent Gbagbo.
We were right to think that the denunciations of these military attacks by the international community have prompted France to put an end to his assassination attempt, but it is clear that France remains constant in its fatal project. Thus, Thursday, April 7, she decided, by the mouth of Mr. Alassane Ouattara, to set up a blockade of his official residence. Thus also the night of 8 to 9 April 2011 ballet Air force helicopters unicorn, transport and positioning of the rebel troops, dropping bombs on the residence of the Head of State have taken over finest.
Thursday, April 7, Mr. Alassane Ouattara made a speech to the nation as president and announced a package of measures and promises. We are familiar with his rantings.
This is the place to remind the world that under the Constitution and the Ivorian non-interference principle governing the member states of the UN, Mr Alassane Ouattara is neither elected nor by the Ivorian people invested Ivorian Constitutional Council, he was not under oath, therefore all these decisions are null and void.
The President of the Republic condemns the assassination attempt by the French army through the
air strikes.
The President of the Republic called the people to continue resistance to Stop the nth power grab.
The President of the Republic asked people to remain committed in the struggle for the liberation of the Coast
d'Ivoire and Africa.
The President of the Republic sympathizes with the suffering imposed on them by Alassane Ouattara and his terrorists. He knows that they suffer from lack of food, medicines, whether they live in fear and insecurity, and particularly in rural areas, people living hidden in the bush in hunger and cold.
The President of the Republic expresses its determination to continue the fight.
The President of the Republic has the firm conviction that the current tests and rubble, Côte d'Ivoire resurrected glorious, proud and prosperous.
May God bless Côte d'Ivoire.
Thank you.
